Your internet bill is going up.

Monthly charges for its FibreWire Internet plans will increase on February 1, One Communications has announced.

The telco said the monthly price increases of $10 will be accompanied by an increase in internet speed.

Subscribers to the FibreWire 100 Mbps service will see a speed increase to 150 Mbps, and 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps subscribers will receive increased speeds of 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps, respectively.

Writing to its customers, the company said: “Over the past few years, One Communications has continued to invest in our FibreWire internet network.

“With the ever-increasing number of connected devices and the growth of Internet use in the home, we know that having a fast and reliable service is vital to ensure an excellent customer experience.”

The monthly increase is being made to “maintain this pace of progress and proactively improve our services,” the company said.
