The senior program manager of the design strategy and innovation team at Google will be a guest speaker at the Malcom Center in Kīhei on Thursday, February 2nd from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
Jen Chu will talk about what the future might look like in remote work environments that include immersive experiences like virtual reality.
Chiu has previously worked as a management consultant for a number of businesses and non-profit organizations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. According to the announcement of the event, his work combines the spirit of creativity, curiosity and experimentation with measurable results.
“I’m equally energized by planning and leading and rolling up my sleeves,” he said. “I enjoy bringing clarity and organization to uncertain spaces and building teams from scratch.”
He will also talk about the high-tech and diverse career path.
