By Shubhi Mishra: Pollution in Delhi is quite notorious and is known to be seriously dangerous for the residents of the city. But have you ever thought about how things will look if this continues in the future? Using artificial intelligence (AI), an artist has visualized how Delhi and its fight against pollution will look like in the future. And the results are terrifying to say the least.

The post was shared on Twitter by an artist named Madhav Kohli. He shared a total of 17 AI-based photos of what Delhi would look like in the future if pollution levels remained the same. The people in the pictures were seen wearing face masks with huge vents and it looked quite difficult to carry out normal tasks like buying vegetables and traveling as the people were wearing suits and helmets with oxygen masks.

Even the bride and groom can be seen wearing masks in traditional dress at the wedding. The iconic Taj Mahal in Agra is seen shrouded in a blanket of smog.

“What will New Delhi and its fight against pollution look like in the future? Visualized with AI,” the post’s caption reads.

“Smog makes the day look like this,” read the caption.

This picture of children playing outside is very sad.

“And Shaadi season will remain Shaadi season,” Madhav wrote.

It’s no use guessing that the Twitter post caught a lot of eyeballs. People were freaked out and called the visuals terrifying in the comments section.

“Chernobyl,” the user wrote.

Another user commented: “Really sad to see these pictures.”
